This function returns the value ${\partial V_{pr} \over \partial f_{pr}}$ for a field $fld$ at a grid point specified by the indices in INDEXLIST. (See below.) If you look at this function for the TWOFLDLAMBDA model you will see that equations (4.12) and (4.13) have simply been copied in.
